Brian Donnelly
Brian Donnelly, President of Momentum Solutions, is dedicated to helping business owners and leaders find joy in their professional lives, deliver great results, and create workplaces that people love. In short, what he refers to as Purpose At Work.® Ironically, Brian never expected to be a leader. Trained in both business and exercise science, he intended to train elite athletes.
To support himself as a graduate student, he took a job as a manager in a private medical practice, where he found that he worked well with the physician community and enjoyed the compassionate people drawn to health care. Here, Brian discovered his interest in medicine as a business and began to fall in love with leadership science. Leadership has been central to Brian’s career for more than 35 years. He has led businesses ranging in size from 10 employees and $1 million in revenue to those approaching 1,000 employees and $200 million in revenue.
An insightful strategist and gifted guide, he has led transformational change, facilitated business turnarounds, orchestrated consolidations and expansions, and chaperoned sale transactions for both a company he owned, and for a large corporate enterprise with proceeds approaching $500 million. Regardless of his assignment, Brian has discovered that what drives him is helping leaders elevate the impact they have on the lives they touch.
Brian now dedicates 100 percent of his professional time and energy toward working with business owners and leaders to help them get what they want from their professional lives and businesses. As a Certified EOS Implementer, he helps business owners and leaders gain clarity, bring discipline and focus to their work, and create high-performing, cohesive teams. Brian holds a BS in Accounting from Merrimack College and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
As a lifelong learner, he recently completed Certification as a Working Genius Coach and is currently engaged in an 18-month internship program with the Center for Courage & Renewal leading to a Certified Circles of Trust Facilitator designation. He and his wife Heather live in Holland, Michigan. They have two daughters, Bridget, a Clinical Therapist, and Paige, a photographer and fashion designer.
